The Old West HARPG is mainly a horse-art game. Though primarily based upon horses, riders, and their stables, you can also include and/or breed livestock and domestic animals alongside your horses such as dogs, cattle, sheep etc. This is an ART-ROLEPLAY-GROUP focused on stable-story telling, Western Events, and overall fun!

General Player Rules
:bulletblack: Ultimately when it comes to breeding we follow the breeding rules set down by the animal's owners, but we do NOT enforce UNFAIR re-claims. Note that this is not a breed group and we will not be enforcing Ids on animals or breeding rules, genetics, ect.

:bulletblack: You don't have to be registered with any other horse art role play game, or any other horse RPG in order to join.

:bulletblack: No stealing or making direct copies of others horses/animals. If a direct copy is made without player agreement, the offending player will be warned and suspended. Copying is theft. Second offense and they will be banned from the group and their entries kicked-out.

:bulletblack: Use others characters & animals with permission.

:bulletblack: We have TWO-TIME-LINES!! You MUST mention if you're in the OLD times, (such as the western era), or the MODERN times which is today and only attempts to recreate or reenact the old times. So, stick to your characters time, (you cna have more than one so you can interact with everyone). If you play in the OLD times, you can't roll up to an event with a shiny new horse trailer.

:bulletblack: Add as many horses, riders, and livestock as you'd like but if there has been inactivity for over one year it will be kicked from the group. If a member has not contributed in over a year they will also be kicked from the group unless they have a reason and make mention to the group as to why they're absent. Details are not needed.

:bulletblack: Just like other Art RPG's, you can host your own shows on your property WITH THE CORRECT TIME listed and submitted into the correct gallery folder.

You may draw/role-play within the OLD WEST story-line, or the preferred and updated modern day story-line where stables dress and act the part of the old west rather than actually live it from back in those times. If you have been booted from the group during the 2014 revamp, you're more than welcome to return and advertise for the group to get your friends and affiliates involved!!

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, we would love if you COMMENTED down below and we will answer by updating the journal so all may see the question/answer!!

Hello, I have started a new group for HARPG ranches to join!
here-comes-chaos Featured By Owner Feb 7, 2014  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Hi there! I have a (hopefully) quick question concerning the placement of art in the group categories.

For my stable, I was pulling up the courage to send in a join request to this group, and then it occurred to me that the plotline I have for my stables might collide with some of the categories.
I have every intention of turning the plot for my stables into a sort of murder mystery, centered 'round Old West reenactors in the modern times. For different clues found and each progression of events, I plan to make a separate piece of art.
So, my question is this: Would each image go under "Daily Life and Training" or would I submit it to a different category?
